Congress star campaigner Priyanka Gandhi Vadra during her recent campaign for Congress in Amethi and Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh exhorted the people to 'wake up and rise' to fight for their rights.
Priyanka Gandhi said that corruption and political opportunism were the biggest challenges for the nation. The people who should be on the stage have been pushed away and forced to beg for their rights, Priyanka Gandhi pointed out.
'Tell me what the meaning of a politician is?' Priyanka asked a gathering in Balbhadrapur area of Gauriganj. 'They are your servants. This stage should be for you and they should stand where you are standing” added the Congress campaigner and continued 'The way you beg for your rights is wrong. Why don't you wake up? When will you rise?'
Briefly interacting with the media Priyanka Gandhi said: 'Corruption, anarchy and political opportunism are our biggest challenges. People have realised it now.'
