Priyanka Gandhi joins Rahul Gandhi to encourage Congress workers

The elections in UP witnessed the presence of all the prominent personalities and political leaders. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had visited Amethi and Raebareli as part of her campaign in Rae Bareli and Amethi, the constituencies of Congress President Sonia Gandhi and General Secretary Rahul Gandhi respectively, to help Rahul Gandhi who led the Congress campaign in the state.

Priyanka Gandhi had started her campaign with an election meeting in Munshiganj where she instructed the party cadres how to handle the election campaign and the strategy for voting day. Priyanka Gandhi also requested the Congress workers in Amethi to take forward Rahul Gandhi's mission to transform UP by bringing a Congress Government in the state. After Amethi, She visited Raebareli.

While Priyanka was campaigning in Amethi and Raebareli, her brother and Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi toured Jhansi and Lalitpur districts of Uttar Pradesh. He later visited Hamirpur, Mahoba, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi and Allahabad and addressed various rallies and Congress meetings.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi addressed election rallies at Roorkee and Tehri in Uttarakhand.
