Priyanka Gandhi Vadra urges voters to get over ‘negative politics’

Blaming the prevalent political environment of Uttar Pradesh which for the last 22 years side tracked the real issues of the people and development of the state, Congress (I) star campaigner Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has urged the people to change this negative politics. “Voters will have to give a serious thought and decide on changing 22 years of negative politics,” said Priyanka Gandhi while addressing a meeting in Rae Bareli for the ongoing Assembly elections.

Emphasizing to the audience the importance of vote she said the vote should be for ensuring their better future. People should not vote for leaders if they do not work for their progress and development, she further said and added that only then the things would change. She said she has not come here seeking votes but to wake up the people as otherwise communal forces would continue to mislead and play with the future of people.

Highlighting that by diverting the attention of the people, they are developing themselves, Priyanka Gandhi said Congress (I) campaign headed by Rahul Gandhi was about the people and development of the state. She assured the people that their vote for Congress (I) would be vote for progress of the people and development of the state.
